The ETF Forum’s main goal is to educate intermediaries on how the products can be used as effective investment tools to build or enhance well-diversified portfolios.

As part of this education programme, the ETF Forum is hosting a series of free CPD-accredited workshops across the UK over the course of the year.

These events will feature leading speakers from the ETF industry discussing a wide variety of topics including the key characteristics of ETPs, why and how ETFs are traded, and how best to access them.

This session will cover the structure of an ETF, their characteristics and market growth. We will also cover the advantages and disadvantages of ETF use in portfolios.

Session 2: The ETF Investment Universe (Source)

This session will explore the various different types of investment opportunities accessible via the ETF product universe. This will cover the choice of asset classes, sectors and investment styles.

Session 3: ETFs in Client Portfolios (WisdomTree Europe)

This session will cover how advisers can incorporate ETFs in client portfolios and how ETFs can be used both strategically and tactically.

Session 4: Accessing ETFs and Future Trends (ETF Securities)

This final session will look at how advisers can access ETFs, market issues and future trends.
