Viktor Nossek, Director of Research, WisdomTree Europe
Viktor, who has over 14 years’ experience in research, joined the firm from Renaissance Asset Managers where he was Head of Research. Viktor provides macro research on various themes covering equities, commodities and fixed income. His research for WisdomTree in Europe offers investment strategies for the current range of Smart Beta UCITS ETFs as well as the Boost range of short and leveraged Exchange Traded Notes. Viktor has previously worked as a Research Analyst at BlackRock and Thomson Financial. He started his career as an Equity Strategist at Commerzbank, after he completed a Masters in Economics from Maastricht University, in the Netherlands.
Dr. Cheng, Chief Economist, ICBC International
Dr. CHENG Shi, born in 1979, now serves concurrently as the Executive Director, Senior Economist and Co-Head of Research at ICBC International. Dr Cheng obtained his Ph.D degree in Economics from Fudan University in 2007. His research areas are mainly focussed on global macroeconomics, China macroeconomics and financial markets. From 2003, Dr Cheng has published over 1800 academic papers and analytical articles on mainstream financial and economic journals both locally and abroad. He has accumulated 9 well-known literature publications (including single as well as collaborated works), and is a well-respected youth economist. His other academic activities include: member of the academic committee of Pangoal Institution, mentor for Renmin University of China and Anhui University Masters program, and a columnist for multiple financial media including FT Chinese, Bloomberg Business, China Business News, Shanghai Securities News, Sina, Xinhua Net, Caijin, etc.
Priscilla Luk, Senior Director, Global Research & Design, S&P Dow Jones Indices
Priscilla Luk serves as Senior Director of Global Research & Design, at S&P Dow Jones indices. She is responsible for the conceptualization and design of new indices using a combination of analytical, commercial, and regulatory considerations. Priscilla also regularly publishes research on new and existing products, and represents S&P DJI at media engagements, conferences, and other client events. Prior to joining S&P DJI in 2012, Priscilla spent over ten years in equity research providing analysis on asset allocation and equity investment strategies. Previously, Priscilla was an Asian equity strategist with Deutsche Bank AG and also served as a partner and the director of research at First Horse Capital, a global equity hedge fund management company. Prior to this, Priscilla worked as global and Asian strategist at Mirae Asset Securities. Priscilla also worked as a global equity strategist and Asian equity strategist at Citigroup Global Markets. She joined Citigroup from CLSA Asia Pacific Markets where she was a quantitative research analyst. Priscilla started her career in the quantitative research division at Credit Suisse in 2001. Priscilla graduated with a B.Sc. in Quantitative Finance from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
